In connection to the information given by OSAI, Forest Department personnel from Coimbatore arrested three persons on August 11, 2009, Monday on charges of possessing ‘spotted deer skin’ at R.S. Puram in the city.

Three persons were found roaming around under suspicious circumstances on Father Rhondy Street in R.S. Puram, Coimbatore. Our members who spotted the trio informed the Forest Department.

Forest personnel recovered three spotted deer skins and also some nails that were purportedly brought for selling as tiger nails.

The accused were remanded and are under judicial custody.
