OSAI along with Coimbatore Forest Division, Tamil Nadu organised a environmental event Mountain Run to commemorate the International year of Mountains in 2002. Mr. P. Durairasu I.F.S., District Forest Officer inaugurated the function.The objective of the event is to create awareness about our mountains, forests, waterbodies and tribals. This eco-event was well attended by students and general public in Coimbatore.
