In a fast-paced, competitive, consumerist world, the student of today finds little time to think about his or her environment.  This environmental awareness campaign focused on the significance of conservation and the role that each student could play to make this a greener planet.  Personalities from various government organizations and environmentalists addressed the students on various aspects of conservation and protection. The awareness campaign was well attended by 8000 students from 11 colleges in and around Coimbatore.
